The development consists of 60 one and two-bedroom retirement apartments with design features to make day-to-day living easier. As well as the privacy of your own apartment, there’s the opportunity to lead a full and active social life. Open every day, our table service restaurant serves tasty and nutritious lunches for our homeowners and their friends and family, at a very reasonable price. All the food is freshly prepared and we can cater for special dietary requirements. Wainwright Court is located in Kendal, an old market town situated on the edge of the most beautiful part of the country- the English Lake District. Kendal rail station is on the branch line to Windermere from Oxenholme and is approximately 2/3 of a mile from Wainwright Court. Oxenholme is on the west coast mainline which provides connections to many of the country’s major cities.
