Residents Enjoy Royal Celebration

To mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, McCarthy Stone homeowners across the UK welcomed friends and families to their developments for a variety of special celebrations that were truly “fit for a Queen”.

From Oakwood Court in Inverness, to San Lorenzo Court in St Ives, homeowners from up and down the country rolled out the red carpet and hung up the bunting to celebrate the Her Royal Highness the Queen on her Platinum Jubilee. Come rain or shine, homeowners celebrated in style with various events, from afternoon teas and royal cake competition to swing music and crafts and quizzes.

Despite some strong weather warnings over 450 events took place over the bank holiday weekend, with many developments marking the special occasion by planting trees or roses, whilst others welcomed their local community to their developments by hosting street parties in their gardens.

At Windsor House in Sheffield homeowners kicked off the celebrations with a Jubilee themed lunch, followed by live entertainment, a raffle and a garden party.Windsor House, Sheffield - Jubilee Party

Whilst Her Majesty was not able to attend all the events over the weekend, McCarthy Stone residents have celebrated in style on her behalf and it’s great to see them having the time of their lives.”
